Summer Tomato Salad

A simple fresh salad for that hot summer day

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tomatoes (medium/large)
  • 6 fresh basil leaves sliced
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • sea salt to taste
  • fresh ground pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Core and cut the tomatoes into half moons.
  • In a medium sized bowl, toss together the tomatoes, red onion, basil, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Add salt and fresh ground pepper to taste.
